Daihatsu Terios 2012

The Daihatsu Terios is a production by the Japanese car maker Daihatsu, a company partly owned by Toyota. As such, the second generation Terios has been co-developed by Toyota and Daihatsu. It comes as a mini SUV which first entered the market in 1997. The car uses a modified engine of the Daihatsu Charade, a 1.3 L which uses either a four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. Transmission options include the 5-speed manual transmission and the 4-speed automatic transmission.
The mini SUV has also taken up different names in various markets, which culture has been characteristic of Toyota’s naming of its brands, here also adopted by Daihatsu perfectly well. Other names tagged on the Terios are the Toyota Cami, Dario Terios, Daihatsu Truma and Perodua Kembara; all used across the globe in various markets. The car has been in production since the year 1995 and engines options include the 1.3 litre and 1.5 litre engines; with diesel engine versions yet to be provided. Only the 1.5 litre version is available with both two- or four-wheel drive. Daihatsu provided the first generation Terios as a 4-door estate. The Daihatsu Terios 1.5 L comes as a 4x4/ All wheel drive mini SUV with very advanced technology, that has made this mini-SUV a darling for those in search of the most affordable, stylish performing vehicle. It also adopts a front diff lock and being a full time 4x4 vehicle, the Terios has no fear of the outdoors. Of course not as sizeable as the Toyota Land Cruiser, it is the rigidity and toughness of the car that enables it to boldly take on the outdoors with passion and daring determination. The car is quite ready to prove its outdoor abilities to anyone who may doubt it.
The Terios has a boot capacity of 380 liters and dimensionally, the mini-SUV measures 4055mm in length, with a height of 1810mm. Its ground clearance which makes it a champion on the outdoors is an incredible 255mm. The width of the Terios Min-SUV is at 1695mm, and has a licensed mass of 1490kgs. The SUV takes inside the front bonnet, a longitudinal inline 4 cylinder engine and it uses a 5-speed manual transmission. Daihatsu provides a favorable warranty and service plan of 75,000km. Oil change interval is set at 15,000km for the best performance and longevity of the engine. It comes with a 3 year/100,000km warranty.
Average fuel consumption is estimated at 8.86 L per 100km. The engine uses unleaded petrol and has a tank capacity of 50 L, which is the basis for the 560km the mini-SUV can go before a refill. The engine is quite capable when it comes to power and torque generation. The 1.5 engine does 87kW at 6200 rpm and generates a maximum torque of 150Nm at 4600 rpm. Comfort and convenience is also real in the Terios. The aircon, front and rear headrests, the radio and CD player provides the basis for the joy and coziness in the mini-SUV. Other comfort features includes the power features, such as power steering, electric windows and remote mirrors. Other features to note on the Terios are the tinted side windows, tinted windscreen, the rear screen demister and rear screen wiper. The mini-SUV allows for the creation of more space for additional luggage due to the rear seat split function which allows for the seats to be folded and more space created in the interior.
At the base and core of the passive and active safety features portfolio on the mini-SUV are functions and features such as the alarm, a transponder for the engine immobilizer, airbags for the driver and passengers and the side airbags for protection from side impact. Daihatsu has also gone an extra mile in taking care of the needs of its drivers and passengers by providing a roadside assistance package.
The styling of the mini-SUV is courtesy of the definitive body style, the body colored bumpers and mirrors, with the metallic paint available as an option. The mini-SUV comes with a 5-door body style and also incorporates 5 seats. The front braking system adopts ventilated discs, while the rear takes on drums. The front suspension is courtesy of the MacPherson struts, coils and stabilizing bar, with the rear using the 5-link axle rigid axle and coils. The adjustable rake and steering wheel also provides for safety and is also a convenience feature for the driver for the best driving position. This mini-SUV is one of the best offerings in the min-SUV range. It derives its ideals from the combined forces of two legendary car makers; Toyota and Daihatsu Motor Company.

2012 Mazda CX-9

New mazda cx 9 in 2012,this car is powered by a 3.7-liter V-6 engine, which makes even the most complex pursuits as easy and as pleasurable as possible. Its power peak of 273 horsepower at 6,250 rpm offers explosive acceleration and passing performance. The torque curve keeps 250 lb-ft at 3,000 to 6,000 rpm and peaks at 270 lb-ft at 4,250 rpm.CX-9 can accelerate from 0-60 in 7.3 seconds.

The 2012 Mazda CX-9 features a cabin that's stylish and elegant, with a look that's more high end than that of many others in this segment. A graceful waterfall motif on the dash and doors presents visual flair, and except for some low-rent plastics on the center stack, materials quality is respectable. The center console bin -- with its unique split-opening lid -- is quite capacious, but overall, there aren't a lot of storage opportunities inside the cabin.

Within the first two rows, there's ample room even for taller passengers, but headroom is tighter for those seated in the third row. The second-row seat reclines and slides fore and aft to deliver optimal comfort. Access to the third row comes easily thanks to large openings for the rear doors and the fold-and-slide second row; however, the larger doors can be troublesome in tight parking spaces. With the second and third rows folded flat, the CX-9 offers up 101 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
Driving Impressions

Like many large crossovers, the 2012 Mazda CX-9 provides admirable road trip transportation, offering a comfortable ride on long journeys. It separates itself from the pack by driving like a smaller, more agile vehicle thanks to its precise, communicative steering and buttoned-down composure in corners. The compliant suspension soaks up bumps and potholes to provide a poised, comfortable ride, but we would steer buyers away from the 20-inch tires of the Grand Touring trim, which tend to make the ride somewhat choppy over the rough stuff.

The CX-9 is available in three trim levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Customers will find all three trims come with a standard six speed automatic and are available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive variants.

Side curtain airbags, stability control, anti-lock brakes, and a host of other safety features are standard on all trim levels. Front wheel drive Sport CX-9s start just below $30,000 while an AWD Grand Touring can reach the $40,000 mark when loaded with rear seat entertainment, navigation, and towing packages.

The "base" CX-9 comes well equipped with standard 18-inch wheels, power moonroof, heated mirrors, three-zone automatic climate control, 8-way power adjustable driver's seat, Bluetooth compatibility, side-impact air bags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS) and Roll Stability Control (RSC).

Upgrading to the CX-9 Touring trim level yields available power opening and closing rear liftgate, advanced keyless entry, 4-way power adjustable front seats, Bose audio and a backup camera.

The premium trim level designated by the Grand Touring moniker delivers upgraded 20-inch wheels, Xenon headlamps, halogen fog lamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers, driver's seat memory and available rear-entertainment system, DVD-based navigation and the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) System.

Opting for the towing package will allow a Touring or Grand Touring model to haul up to 3,500 pounds.

Toyota GT-86 2012

The new introduction Toyota in 2012,this is Toyota GT-86.
Toyota GT 86 is built on a new platform, with a highly aerodynamic bodyshell stretched tight over the car’s mechanical elements. Rather than fitting a heavy, large capacity powertrain, Toyota has opted instead to go back to its sporting roots, installing a compact, front-mounted, free-revving petrol engine that drives the rear wheels.

The Toyota FT-86 is powered by a 2.0-liter with four cylinder that's can produce 197bhp at 7,000rpm and maximum torque of 205Nm at 6,600rpm, giving the GT 86 brisk, engaging performance.

The powertrain is matched to the world’s most compact four-seat design to create a car that benefits from light weight, low inertia and a low centre of gravity to achieve the best possible power-to-weight ratio. For the driver that means lively, accessible performance and dynamic character with minimal intrusion from electronic systems.

The FT-86’s interior is as sporty as its outside with a flat-bottomed leather-covered steering wheel with its very own red stitching. In addition to that, it also has aluminum pedals, a navigation system, gauges that light with red neon, digital readouts, and a gray instrument panel that seamlessly molds into the darker dash.
