At the base and core of the passive and active safety features portfolio on the mini-SUV are functions and features such as the alarm, a transponder for the engine immobilizer, airbags for the driver and passengers and the side airbags for protection from side impact. Daihatsu has also gone an extra mile in taking care of the needs of its drivers and passengers by providing a roadside assistance package.
The styling of the mini-SUV is courtesy of the definitive body style, the body colored bumpers and mirrors, with the metallic paint available as an option. The mini-SUV comes with a 5-door body style and also incorporates 5 seats. The front braking system adopts ventilated discs, while the rear takes on drums. The front suspension is courtesy of the MacPherson struts, coils and stabilizing bar, with the rear using the 5-link axle rigid axle and coils. The adjustable rake and steering wheel also provides for safety and is also a convenience feature for the driver for the best driving position. This mini-SUV is one of the best offerings in the min-SUV range. It derives its ideals from the combined forces of two legendary car makers; Toyota and Daihatsu Motor Company.
