2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

Hyundai has already broken the small car mold with its sporty Veloster hatchback. Now it's putting some guts in the engine compartment with the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. The front-wheel-drive Veloster hatchback's unusual style gives it a coupe look, but actually there are three doors -- one on the driver side and two on the passenger side. Unlike the small access-style door found on the Mini Cooper Clubman, the Veloster's third door is a normal, front-hinged door. To maintain the sleek silhouette, the extra door's exterior release lever is hidden.

By making its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo comes with power from the 1.6-Liter Direct-Injected Gamma Four-Cylinder Engine are capable of spraying up to 201 horsepower at 6000 RPM and 194 lb-ft of torque from 1750 – 4500 rpm with regular fuel. Moreover, it’s supported by the Wastegate System and Twin-Scroll Turbocharger that integrated with the exhaust manifold, so able to provide faster throttle response and significant. 2013 Veloster Turbo expected to reach 0-60 mph in 7 to 8 seconds.

To perfect it all, Hyundai decided to put the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission and 6-Speed Manual Gearbox on the 2013 Veloster Turbo. Of course, it’s an option for you and depends on individual taste. However, for the EPA fuel economy ratings produced were quite surprised by producing 27 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
2013 Veloster Turbo offers some features such as, standard screen-based infotainment system, integrated Pandora listening and USB port. Available new color options “Matte Gray Hue” for turbo model and the eight individual LED accent lights that were around the headlights. Meanwhile, the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo release date reportedly to be released before summer this year and will go on sale at a price of $21,500.

The 2013 Veloster Turbo arrives in the Summer of 2012, facing off against worthy competitors such as the Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic Si and Mini Cooper/Clubman S with a better power-to-weight ratio than all of them, and a unique sport-tuned steering and suspension hardware set.

The Veloster Turbo will certainly look the part of a hot hatch. Hyundai will offer it with Matte Gray paint, 18-inch alloy wheels, an aggressive-looking new grille, foglights and dual circular center-exit exhaust pipes.

The 2013 Hyundai Veloster goes on sale this summer. Pricing has not been announced, but we expect the Turbo to start around $22,300, making it a pretty competitive choice among other hot sport compacts like the Mini Cooper S, Volkswagen GTI and even the forthcoming Scion FR-S.
